Basic Info BioA misplaced Vancouverite now living in Toronto. Or was it a misplaced Torontonian growing up in Vancouver... who knows?
Part-time writer, critic, journalist. Full time reader of newspapers (the Globe, the NY Times and the Guardian), magazines (Esquire, Harper's, Atlantic Monthly, Saturday Night), books (Ondaatje, Rushdie, Chabon, Safran Foer, Delillo, a few dozen more).
When I leave the house I drink coffee and I look at art.... usually not at the same time. Things I usually mix together are beer and friends (beer = friend?). Want more? Read On!
Asian Canadian, likes long walks through salty, muddy, slush, being hopped up on caffeine and really beautiful sentences (beautiful paragraphs are just too much for me... ).
Likes lotsa music: Wilco, Elliot Smith, Johnny Cash, Feist, Broken Social Scene, the Weakerthans, the Organ etc. etc.
Slow to anger except when hungry... grrr. Quick to forgive, except when really hungry. It's probably best to avoid me when I'm hungry!
